Today (July 31), Mariah Carey posted an Instagram photo posing in a studio alongside rapper French Montana, producer Detail, and our favorite reformed bad boy, Justin Bieber — who was dressed like a sexy lumberjack, we’d like to add.
The picture is captioned “Coming soon,” and Mariah also tagged songwriter Eric Hudson (“Infinity”) and executive VP of A&R at Epic Records, Joey Arbagey, who oversaw her 2005 masterpiece, The Emancipation of Mimi.
French also shared the photo, with the same caption, and later in the day DJ Suss One joined in posting the pic, adding “I hooked a few of my good friends up to work in the studio last night!! Stay tuned!!”. At least now we know who to thank for this Instagram all-stars sesh.
As if that isn’t enough to get fans frenzied (and seriously confused), earlier this morning Mimi shared a picture of her and French where she tagged Suss One and her own friend and manager, TV Producer Stella Bulochnikov.

Stella herself shared a photo with French, hashtagging “#whyyoumad” (a line from Mariah’s “Infinity”), and “#itsasmash” — one of Mariah’s trademark sayings. So, either there is definitely a Mimi connection there, or maybe Stella just picked up a few cute Mariah-isms while yachting with her in Cannes.
