Tom Daley has never exactly struggled to make clothes look good, but Patrick Church‘s new collaboration gives him plenty to work with.
The Olympic diver stars in a new collection featuring everything from graphic tanks and embroidered boxer shorts to matching pajamas, each filtered through Patrick Church’s colorful, playful aesthetic. There are little nods to diving throughout the collection without making it feel like sports merch. It still feels like Patrick Church first, Tom Daley second, which is probably why it works so well.
Photographer Dylan Perlow deserves some credit here, too. Most of the campaign leans heavily on natural light, giving everything a warm, relaxed feel that never slips into looking overproduced. The images feel effortless, even though that’s usually the hardest thing to pull off.
And yes, it helps that Tom Daley is, well… Tom Daley. Whether he’s floating in a pool, stretched across a bed, or casually making boxer shorts look like a complete outfit, the campaign never feels forced. It’s playful, a little flirty, and just self-aware enough to avoid taking itself too seriously.
Whether you’re here for Tom, the clothes, or the photography, this campaign delivers on all three.
Dylan Perlow’s natural light approach gives the images a softness that’s hard to fake.
Patrick Church’s designs are playful without trying too hard, and Tom Daley wears them exactly the way they were meant to be worn.
We rounded up some of our favorite images from the campaign below, along with Tom’s behind the scenes video from the shoot. Be sure to check out Patrick Church’s shop to see the full collection and everything this collaboration has to offer.
