Travel awakened photographer Ted Sun to life, and sparked his passion for creating stunning images. Over 5 years, he traveled to over 70 countries across all 7 continents – from backpacking in India to walking with penguins in Antarctica. He became increasingly compelled to share his images and experiences, and it was soon clear that this is all he wanted to do – take pictures. And today fans love Ted’s vivid images!!

Currently, Ted splits his time between Los Angeles, where he was born and raised, and New York City. His images show up everywhere. He has shot many of today’s top models and celebrities as well as countless magazine covers.

Ted certainly understands the client side of the business. Before photography, Ted managed ad campaigns at big agencies in LA and NYC for six years (Grey, Dailey & BBDO). After his agency experiences, Ted worked as a freelance videographer and media consultant for the City University of NY for several years. Ted graduated with a psychology degree from Princeton University, where he first explored visual arts.

Recently, Ted shot model Alex Valley for a publication. He was gracious enough to share a few extra bonus images with us. Alex is with Front Management in Miami and Soul Artist Management in NYC.
