Miss Jackson is clearly sticking to an area she is very comfortable with here: Sultry baby-making music. Produced by longtime collaborators Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the slow-burner opens with the sounds of a rainstorm (think “Any Time, Any Place“) before it hits us with a plush, thumping beat.
“48 hours of love / It’s gonna be a weekend marathon / So you better get ready my king / Cause I’m gonna be the Queen of Insomnia” Janet is definitely going deep and getting no sleeep. This song would fit well on a sexy date-night playlist between “I Get Lonely” and the more uptempo “Throb“.
