UPDATE 7/12/16:
Entertainment Tonight just published the behind the scenes video for Private Show with MUCH MORE AUDIO from the song:
Iconic.
Beautiful.
Brilliant.
But enough about “Pretty Girls.” Britney Spears has a new perfume ad y’all!
The first official teaser for her newest upcoming fragrance Private Show is officially out, and boy is it a good one.
Of the perfume, Britney says, “Private Show celebrates one of my biggest passions — dancing! It is inspired by the electric energy I feel when I’m performing, whether during rehearsals or on-stage during my show. I wanted my fans to have an uplifting, sexy scent that empowers them to achieve their dreams!” That’s incredibly easy to see in this ad, she ain’t playing around. The catwalk, the strip tease, the gaze, the sexy B9 era tousled beach hair, the “twirling for all the haters” realness… it’s all perfect.
Stay tuned… #PrivateShow #TakeABow @britneyspearsfragrances

And do you hear that too? Hell yeah, that’s a snippet of new music! We’re almost to the promised land! We don’t get much aside from some melodic “oohs” and finger snaps buried deep in the background, and a huge “Private show!” from the songstress, but it’s already leaving us wondering what the song’s going to sound like. A playful summery bop? A huge “Inside Out”-like chorus with crashing synths?
“I had a really, really cool song that I worked with on my album and the girl was amazing. She’s from London. She came in and she’s like a wailer, she has really big vocal chops. I was like ‘let’s do something different’ and do a really, really cool song for the fragrance. It just made sense, and it was called ‘Private Show.’ It clicked,”
-Britney to E! News.
The songwriter in reference was found out to be Carla Marie Williams, who’s penned songs for Beyoncé (“Runnin'” with Naughty Boy, “Freedom”), Girls Aloud (“Can’t Speak French,” “The Promise,” “Something New”), as well as The Saturdays (“Never Giving Up”, “What Are You Waiting For?”). A formidable back catalog worthy to stand up to that of Britney’s herself. Williams herself confirmed Young Fyre, who’s worked with Tamar Braxton and Lil Wayne to say the least, produced on the track.
No matter what, the vocal take already sounds massive, the melody infectious, and fans are thirsty for more. And that’s what the Britney fanbase can pull out of a .03 second snippet.
Private Show is the living legend’s twentieth fragrance overall and her fifth pillar scent, following Maui Fantasy from January this year. Similar to her latest fragrance, Private Show is said to be inspired by Hawaii. “I’ve been going to Hawaii a lot, so I’ve been inspired by soft, really soothing smells and it has a pinch of lavender and stuff,” Brit reports to a semi-creepy interview with E! News. The perfume, now available exclusively at Kohls, contains notes of iced Frappuccino, clementine, juicy nectarine, dulce de leche, orange flower, jasmine sambac, luminous amber, and sensual musks. Yes y’all, after twenty released the businesswoman has finally released a fragrance containing the refreshing and sweet notes of iced frappuccino. Queen of Starbucks!
