Zayn, “PILLOWTALK” crooner and reader of books, is looking extra liberated in his latest photoshoot and interview for Complex. As always we’re getting new details on his upcoming album, Mind of Mine, and fans are getting an extra treat today with a behind-the-scenes video soundtracked by the title track and intro of the album, as seen above.
The former One Direction member of course is always dishing out on the band, although keeping shade to a minimum this time around, even defending them when the interviewer suggested an inaccurate statement about the lack of individuality among the boys. And in case you were wondering: he’s very influenced by Tupac’s All Eyez on Me, and he wants you to have sex to his album, if you want.
“When I was younger [not fitting in] was something that I always felt. There are people who fit into certain stereotypes; I never fit into them.”
“I’m going to be crazy ecstatic when [my] album drops. I’m going to be buzzing and I’m going to go out. I’ll probably party with my friends and enjoy it.”
