It’s official. The legendary miss Britney Spears is returning to the VMAs stage with one of the most incredible announcement videos ever.
Soundtracked by Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band‘s “Do Your Thing,” we see Banana the snake crawling around an abandoned dressing room filled with pieces of history: a limp red jumpsuit, a wedding dress, a lone neon light hanging on the wall reading “Bitch.”
“The VMAs don’t just give you a stage, they give you a story. It’s a way of taking a fraction of a second and making it live forever. Before you know it, it’s history. Before you know it… it’s Britney, bitch.”
It’s safe to say we can’t breathe.
Who knows what the pop princess now queen of pop has in store for us? In the same amount of time to rip off a suit to reveal a nude bodysuit,
in the same amount of time to kiss Madonna: who knows how many ways Britney can make us “oooh”?
